Alexander Park | Shapel' (1825–1827)

The Shapel' was built as the artificial ruins of a gothic chapel.  However, it’s now in a more ruined state than originally planned, I think.  There used to be a clock in the tower and a working chapel inside, decorated with a sculpture of the Savior and stained glass windows depicting Biblical scenes.  A watchman lived in a little room at the base of the tower.
